After four races, four boats sit deadlocked at the top of the High Points Championship. Here’s where the title race stands heading into the second half.
With four of eight races complete, the 2026 JSBR High Points Championship has delivered one of the tightest title fights in recent memory. Four boats — M-13 Skeptic, M-18 Wait What?, G-63 Screamin’ Sue, and P-5 Mini Hooker — have each tallied dominant class runs that keep them clustered at the top of the overall leaderboard.
Stephen Girone’s Skeptic has been nearly untouchable in Adult Mini, sweeping all four races. Avarie Megee’s Wait What? has mirrored that dominance in the 18 & Under Mini division, building a commanding lead over Wild Child.
In the Garvey classes, Nick Altmeyer’s Screamin’ Sue leads the 358 division with consistent podium finishes, while Derek Wilson’s Pied Piper II and Paul Hulse’s Why Me Lord continue to trade blows in Super Stock. Mini Hooker has been the class of the Production field.
The second half of the season features the Clash at the Creek (8/2), Sounds Slow Showdown (8/16), and back-to-back double-points events at Lake Hopatcong (9/19) and Beach Haven (9/27) to close the year. Every position will count.
