Race #5 heads to Berkeley Island on Cedar Creek. Here’s a preview of the storylines, class battles, and championship implications heading into the August 2nd event.
Berkeley Island, NJ — The 2026 JSBR Championship reaches its midpoint on August 2nd with the Clash at the Creek at Berkeley Island on Cedar Creek. The familiar Waretown-area waters have produced some of the most dramatic racing in JSBR history.
All eyes will be on the four-way tie atop the High Points Championship. Skeptic and Wait What? have been perfect in their respective Mini classes, but the Garvey and Production battles remain wide open. A strong showing at Cedar Creek could separate the title contenders from the pack.
The Modified Garvey class is expected to feature BAMF (G-87) with Steve Adams and Josh Wall, bringing their aggressive Florida style to the tight Cedar Creek circuit. The 358 class will see Screamin’ Sue looking to defend her points lead against a growing field.
Gates open early for spectators. The Cedar Creek venue offers excellent shoreline viewing — bring chairs, sunscreen, and prepare for a full day of powerboat racing action.
