Parkertown, NJ — The Freedom 250 at Parkertown Docks on July 5th delivered everything fans could ask for — and then some. Even the local wildlife got in on the action, with dolphins putting on a pre-race show along the Parkertown County Park shoreline before the first heat even left the dock.
In Adult Mini, Stephen Girone’s Skeptic continued its reign, extending the championship lead with another class victory. Bad Mamma Jamma and Tiny Dancer rounded out the podium in a hard-fought class. The 18 & Under Mini division saw Avarie Megee’s Wait What? maintain her perfect season, with Wild Child chasing in second.
Super Stock saw Pied Piper II hold off Why Me Lord once again in a tightening class battle. In Production, Mini Hooker continued to set the pace, with Almost Fired Up and HYF chasing. The 358 class featured a growing field, with Screamin’ Sue taking the win ahead of Short Bus and Assassin.
JS-13 Never Seas made its mark in the JS Skiff class, and SK-87 Lethal Weapon entered as a day boat. The High Points Championship leaderboard shuffled significantly after Parkertown, with several boats making moves into the top ten. "This is Jersey Shore Boat Racing — the speed, the competition, the fans, the sound of boats at full throttle," JSBR posted after the race.
