Tuckerton, NJ — July 19th marked the halfway point of the 2026 JSBR Championship, and the Battle at the Bridges at Tuckerton Cove rose to the occasion. With the title race tightening, every team brought their A-game to the familiar Tuckerton waters.
Skeptic remained dominant in Adult Mini, but the depth of the field continued to grow with Spare Parts and Spaceballs joining the fray. Wait What? kept her perfect 18 & Under Mini record alive, while Wild Child closed the gap with a stronger showing.
The Super Stock battle between Pied Piper II and Why Me Lord intensified, with both boats trading positions throughout the day. In Production, Mini Hooker held firm at the top, but Almost Fired Up and HYF kept the pressure on with consistent podium finishes.
The 358 class saw Screamin’ Sue extend her lead, with Assassin and Miller Time joining the fray. The JS Skiff class welcomed a new day boat entry, Bazinga, alongside the consistent Never Seas. Two SK day boats — Lethal Weapon and Double Trouble — added firepower to the SK class.
After four races, the High Points Championship leaderboard has Skeptic and Wait What? at the top, with Screamin’ Sue, Mini Hooker, and Pied Piper II all within striking distance. The second half of the season promises to be a thriller.
